1 Settu upp Tailscale

1. Sæktu Tailscale úr App Store (ókeypis).
2. Opnaðu boðshlekkinn og samþykktu aðgang að netinu:
   https://login.tailscale.com/admin/invite/kutP2mLKaA2svFXmjaqA21
3. Biddu þar til Tailscale segist tengt.

2 Settu upp Surge-vottorðið

Prófíllinn setur bara rót-vottorðið (engin Global HTTP Proxy — það krefst supervised síma).

1. Ýttu á bláa takkann → Allow → Settings → Profile Downloaded → Install.
2. Settings → General → About → Certificate Trust Settings
3. Kveiktu á fullu trausti fyrir Surge

3 Veldu Exit Node

1. Opnaðu Tailscale appið.
2. Ýttu á Exit Node (eða Use exit node).
3. Veldu rentamacs-mac-mini-13.
4. Biddu þar til Exit Node er virkt (VPN-merki getur birtst).

4 Prófaðu

Opnaðu island.is í Safari.

Klárt þegar Tailscale Exit Node er á og Surge-vottorðið er treyst.

Virkar ekki?

1. Exit Node: staðfestu að rentamacs-mac-mini-13 sé valið í Tailscale.
2. Surge: Certificate Trust Settings verður að vera kveikt.
3. Private Relay: slökktu á iCloud Private Relay.
4. Mac-inn þarf að vera kveiktur með Surge MITM og Tailscale „Use as exit node“.

1 Install Tailscale

1. Install Tailscale from the App Store (free).
2. Open the invite link and join the network:
   https://login.tailscale.com/admin/invite/kutP2mLKaA2svFXmjaqA21
3. Wait until Tailscale shows connected.

2 Install the Surge certificate

The profile only installs the root certificate (no Global HTTP Proxy — that requires a supervised phone).

1. Tap the blue button → Allow → Settings → Profile Downloaded → Install.
2. Settings → General → About → Certificate Trust Settings
3. Enable full trust for Surge

3 Choose Exit Node

1. Open the Tailscale app.
2. Tap Exit Node (or Use exit node).
3. Select rentamacs-mac-mini-13.
4. Wait until the exit node is active (a VPN badge may appear).

4 Test

Open island.is in Safari.

Done once Tailscale Exit Node is on and the Surge certificate is trusted.

Not working?

1. Exit Node: confirm rentamacs-mac-mini-13 is selected in Tailscale.
2. Surge: Certificate Trust Settings must be enabled.
3. Private Relay: turn off iCloud Private Relay.
4. The Mac must be on with Surge MITM and Tailscale “Use as exit node”.
